Philip Monroe

Phil Monroe is a principal and co-founder of Cruzan | Monroe. Phil has over 25 years experience in commercial real estate. Since the formation of Cruzan | Monroe in 2002, Phil has focused his responsibilities on identifying and acquiring value-add and development opportunities for the company. In collaboration with Dennis and the Cruzan | Monroe team, Phil has played a leadership role in acquisition through the implementation of asset-specific business plans for Cruzan | Monroe. Prior to forming Cruzan | Monroe, Phil had a 16-year brokerage tenure with Burnham Real Estate in San Diego. Highlights include $1.5 billion in property transactions and top producer honors for six consecutive years. Phil graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He was also educated at the Ecole Nouvelle in Lausanne, Switzerland.
